Commercial Collaboration
One of the pillars of BIOCEV is transfer of results of basic research into practice. The newly established knowledge base, joined in BIOCEV with a unique infrastructure, will provide biotech companies with unique opportunities to collaborate at contractual basis and to train their employees in advanced biotech methodologies.
By creating intellectual property and supporting establishment of start-up and spin-off biotech-oriented companies BIOCEV will catalyze formation of the sector of advanced biotech industry in the Czech Republic. In close vicinity of the centre, several biotech companies have already their sites (e.g. Exbio, Vidia) and based on the existing contacts there is a promise of further collaboration.
