Poster by Nadine Zimmann and her colleagues was selected from hundreds of posters and awarded one of the best presentations!

ICOPA 2018, 14th International Congress of Parasitology, 19.-24. Sept. Daegu, Korea

Members of parasitological teams from BIOCEV with support of OP VVV were participating at the world parasitology congress in Daegu, Republic of Korea. The team presented results of new study of human parasite Trichomonas vaginalis. Results included identification of new virulent factors, discovery of the unique ability to use hydrogen for redox balance, and research of biogenesis of hydrogenosomes - anaerobic forms of mitochondria.
