BIOCEV tested almost 400 orienteering runners. It detected two infected people and contributed to safe races
At the beginning of May, the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic issued an exemption for holding two Czech Cup orienteering races in Jihlava. One of the conditions for participation was also a negative PCR test no later than 48 hours before the start of the event. Mass testing was provided by the GeneCore laboratory from the Institute of Biotechnology of the Academy of Science of the Czech Republic in the BIOCEV centre.
